I’m curious by nature and fall deep into the details of problem solving, which is why recipe development is my first love. It’s about making the most delicious dish by working my way through the process and taking endless notes on timing, the number of pots and pans I had to wash, and temperature. Once the details are honed in I craft an explanation that both inspires someone to make the recipe but also creates an opportunity for their success. Recipe development is the balance between creativity and science, friendship and mentoring.
